Real Estate Development/Finance Process Management - Executive Level

A well-established Real Estate Development Company has an open position for a Real Estate Development professional with a diverse skill set in the Fresno area. Candidate will be responsible for performing high-level administrative duties in support of the company President as a part of the development process. Real Estate Finance, Development Entitlement and Organizational experience is required.

Job duties:

The R.E. Process Manager will handle a wide range of responsibilities to support and add to the work of the Company President. This person must be able to work independently and be exceedingly well organized, flexible, resourceful, and efficient. This person will be interacting with key constituents and officials at all levels, given this interaction a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial. Excellent, proven written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail are required.
• 7+ year experience in administrative process management at the executive level.
• A proven understanding of real estate finance and debt structuring.
• Detailed process planner with the ability to structure large and multifaceted workloads in a manageable manner.
• Communicator with whom a variety of people feel comfortable and relate to.
• Quick learner able to get up to speed on new issues fast and move forward with them independently.
• Excellent schedule management skills,
• An aptitude and proven experience in the use of office technology.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proven professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team and a high degree of confidentiality.
• Highly organized and motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
• Real Estate Development experience in Finance or related field.

Building Maintenance Technician

A well-established Real Estate Development Company has an open position for a Building Maintenance Technician to service its properties in the Fresno area. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of maintenance and general construction, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, cleaning, mechanical, roofing, elevators, framing and Sheetrocking.

Job duties:
The nature of work REQUIRES sustained physical effort in performing assigned tasks related to the upkeep, repair and maintenance of the buildings, grounds, mechanical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, cleaning, heating and electrical systems of all facilities. Must be able to work well with and for others, have sensitivity to tenants and staff, and exercise good judgment in dealing with contractors and vendors.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Overall operational maintenance on all buildings/facilities.
• Complete work orders request for a variety of structures needs of buildings and grounds.
• Ensure completion of all emergency & non-emergency service requests.
• Inform/order supplies and parts within in a cost-effective manner.
• An aptitude for technology.
• Maintain daily work log and maintenance control systems, as well as materials log.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Provide Property manager with analysis of maintenance problems.
• Team and people management required.
• Develop competence and knowledge of tools and equipment used in ground and facility maintenance.
• Perform daily inspection of building systems and can recognize maintenance issues and repairs needed, and correct any deficiencies.
• Oversee and inspect the work of outside contractors on properties.
• Estimate time and materials effectively.
• Immediately advise Property manager of any health and/or safety issues.
• Organize and maintain storage areas in a neat manner.
• Clean gutters/drains at/on rooftops.
• Keep a clean and safe environment after any repairs to the building.

Minimum Requirements are:
• High school diploma, along with 5+ years in building maintenance or related experience.
• Must be available on-call if required for providing evening, weekend and holiday emergency service.
• Maintain a service-oriented environment by exhibiting a professional appearance and attitude.
• Broad knowledge of practices and techniques of general construction, repair and maintenance in a commercial environment.
• Basic analytical skills.
• HVAC and mechanical equipment knowledge preferred. Certifications in building systems: HVAC, Boilers, High Rise Fire Safety a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to use general construction tools.
• Must have a vehicle and valid California Driver license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Must not have a fear of heights.
• Experience repairing various forms of plumbing and fixtures.
• Experience with installing sheetrock, including taping, texturing and painting.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to legally work in the US.
